Hello! My name is Kyle, and I am a husband, father, son, brother, and Christian.

I have a compassionate heart with a mind for stories, and I would love to sit with you, hear your story, and support you and your loved ones through this season. I am passionate about working with all sorts of couples, families, and individuals seeking help amid distress. It is easy to feel stuck and emotionally isolated, and many believe the lie that there is no way to find relief or people who care. I believe positive change is possible for even the most challenging and disheartening of patterns and situations, and I would be honored to do what I can to leverage my experience and help you in yours. I welcome integrating spirituality into the work if it is desired.

I view mental and emotional health from a systems perspective and use my strong analytical skills born from a background in engineering to solve problems and improve communication. Even if I am speaking with you as an individual, there are family, friends, and other influences that matter to you who I will keep in mind and honor. I’ve taken a liking towards Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Emotionally Focused Therapy as methods that resonate with my personal experiences, but I am not limited to these and strongly believe that your situation determines the method. Therapy is a conversation, and I will tell you why and how we would move forward in a way that best fits your needs.

I earned my bachelor’s degree in Physics and Computer Engineering from Bethel University. I’m currently finishing my master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy at Bethel Seminary in St. Paul. I am an intern under the supervision of Dave Runion, LMFT, and Jessica Lynch, LMFT.
