If you’ve landed here, you’re probably weighing whether now is the right time to reach out. Maybe you’re navigating a significant loss, a season of relational confusion, or trying to find your footing after pain or betrayal. You already know life can be a difficult proposition, and perhaps you’re sensing that the burden becomes lighter when someone is willing to walk alongside you for a while—someone who can be present, curious, and genuinely interested in what you’re carrying.

I stepped into this profession to be available for people ready to take that step. As a Licensed Associate Marriage and Family Therapist, I approach care systemically, looking at the whole person and recognizing that the relationships around you and the places you live and work shape your mental health in ways that are easy to overlook.

My goal is to create a space where you can risk letting someone else in, whether that’s into your deep questions, feelings of anxiety, grief, depression, or the relational dynamics that have you turned around. I draw on evidence-based approaches like Internal Family Systems (IFS), Feedback Informed Treatment (FIT), and other experiential modalities, but my core orientation is relational. Therapy is something we do together, not something done to you. That’s where healing, relief, and insight tend to emerge.

I also bring 20 years of pastoral and missionary experience into the room. That history shapes how I understand spiritual pain, vocational loss, ministry burnout, and the complicated grief that can come from serving in faith communities. For clients carrying those specific kinds of weight, it can matter to work with someone who has lived close to that world.

I work with children, individuals, couples, and families. I have a particular heart for couples in cross-cultural relationships and offer sessions in both English and Spanish, because sometimes what you most need to say comes easier in the language closest to your heart. (A veces es más fácil así llegar a donde se tiene que llegar.) I also integrate Christian spirituality into therapy for those who want their faith to be part of the healing process. I am currently working under the supervision of Jessica Lynch, LMFT and Dave Runion, LMFT.
